Stephanie Glover is an award-winning filmmaker that emphasizes a story-driven approach, creating character-focused moments, and connecting and entertaining all audiences. Her debut short film, Blueberry, was nominated for a NAACP Image Award (’23), won best animated short at multiple festivals, and was accepted into numerous Oscar-qualifying festivals worldwide.
Outside of film, Glover has written for several videogames with over 10 credits. She has worked on major franchises such as The Walking Dead and Invincible. Her most recent game writing credit was with Moonshot Studios on their debut title.
Currently, Glover is directing her second animated short film, Our Song, produced at Ace Animation Studios. She co-wrote the story alongside Emmy-nominated children’s writer, Darnell Walker. Glover is passionate about telling stories of identity, self-discovery, and empathy. She enjoys leading collaborative teams and finding ways to infuse story and character into big and small moments.
