Privacy Policy
Last updated October 27, 2026
This policy explains what information the Ace Animation Studios website (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects when you visit, how we use it, and the choices you have. In short: we only collect what you choose to give us when you join our mailing list, we don’t sell it, and we don’t use advertising or analytics trackers.
Information you give us
Mailing list. If you join our mailing list, we collect the email address and (optionally) the first name you enter. We use them only to send you news about our films, screenings and releases. Our mailing list is run by Mailchimp (Intuit), which stores your details on our behalf and may send you an email to confirm your subscription. Every email includes a link to unsubscribe at any time.
Emailing us. If you write to us, we use your message and email address only to reply.
Information collected automatically
Our website is hosted by Cloudflare. Like any website host, Cloudflare processes technical information such as your IP address and browser type in order to deliver pages to you securely and protect the site from abuse. We don’t use this to identify you, and we don’t run analytics or advertising trackers on the site.
Our public pages don’t set cookies.
Content from other services
- Fonts. Our typeface is loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google to fetch it. See Google’s Privacy Policy.
- YouTube. When you open a film’s details, its video preview image loads from YouTube. The YouTube player itself only loads when you press play, using YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode, after which YouTube’s own privacy policy applies. Our behind-the-scenes video is hosted on our own site.
- Instagram. The posts in our News section are fetched from our own Instagram account by our server, so viewing them doesn’t connect your browser to Instagram. Following a link to Instagram takes you to their site and their policy.
Links on our site to other websites (festival pages, social media and so on) are covered by those websites’ own privacy policies.
How long we keep it
We keep your mailing-list details until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. Emails you send us are kept only as long as needed to respond and for our records.
Your choices
You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time using the link in any email. You can also ask us to tell you what information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, by emailing us at the address below.
Children
Our films are made for families, but this website isn’t directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has joined our mailing list, contact us and we’ll remove them.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your information, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
